MatrixTV ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it and what rights you have over that data when you use the Service at https://matrixtv.us.

1.1 Information you give us directly
- Account information: name, email address and phone number.
- Payment information: billing details handled by our payment providers. We never store full card numbers.
- Support communications: the messages and details you send to [email protected] or over WhatsApp.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration and subscription status.
- Device information: device type, operating system and IBO Player application version.
- IP address: used for region detection, fraud prevention and service delivery.
- Cookies: session cookies for authentication and analytics cookies for service improvement — see section 6.
1.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government identification numbers, biometric data, or financial account details beyond what is required to process a payment.
2. How we use your information
- Deliver the Service: activate and manage your subscription, authorise your device and stream content.
- Process payments: complete transactions and issue receipts.
- Provide support: answer questions, troubleshoot faults and resolve disputes.
- Improve the Service: analyse usage patterns to strengthen performance and content coverage.
- Send service messages: order confirmations, expiry reminders and important notices. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
- Prevent fraud and abuse: detect unauthorised account sharing or misuse.
- Meet legal obligations: respond to lawful requests from authorities in the United States.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data to third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Legal basis for processing
Where a legal basis is required by applicable law, ours is:
- Contract performance: processing needed to deliver the subscription you bought.
- Legitimate interests: fraud prevention, platform security and analytics.
- Legal obligation: compliance with the laws of the United States.
- Consent: where we have asked for it explicitly, such as optional communications.
4. Data sharing
We share data only with:
- Payment processors, to complete transactions securely under their own privacy policies.
- Infrastructure providers, such as hosting and CDN partners acting on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Legal authorities, where required by law or court order, or to protect the rights and safety of MatrixTV and its users.
Every third-party processor is required to maintain appropriate security and is prohibited from using your data for their own marketing.

After the retention period data is permanently deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
6. Cookies
- Essential cookies: required for sessions and core functionality. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how visitors move through https://matrixtv.us. You can opt out through your browser settings.
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party behavioural tracking.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location and the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete records
- Delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Restrict or object to particular processing activities
- Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on it

8. Data security

- Encrypted storage for sensitive account information
- Access controls limiting who can view personal data
- Regular internal security reviews
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your rights we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13, or the applicable age of digital consent in the United States. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
10. International transfers
Your data is processed and stored in secure data centres. Where data is transferred outside the United States, we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent protections.

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published at https://matrixtv.us/privacy.html with a revised "Last updated" date. For material changes we will notify you on WhatsApp or through a prominent notice on the site.
